Lafayette Paddle Club is a diverse group of paddlesports enthusiasts,including both canoeists and kayakers. Based out of Lafayette, Louisiana,our membership includes people from all parts of the Acadiana area.

HISTORY
The club was founded in May 2001 by a group of area paddlers looking to organize paddle trips, meet new people, and promote paddlesports in Acadiana.

OUR MISSION
Is to promote paddlesports in Acadaiana, education and safety, and to make known
the beauty and value of our numerous bayous, lakes, and waterways.

JOIN US
Annual dues are $30 for an individual, or $35 for a family membership. This includes membership to the American Canoe Association as well as several benefits of membership such as discounts... [more]

TRIPS
LPC schedules a calendar of paddle trips four times per year which encompasses all
four seasons. Ok, so here in Louisiana we only have two seasons - Summer and
Winter. Nonetheless, we scheduletrips throughout the year.

MEETINGS
Are held on the second Thursday of every month at Hub City Diner in Lafayette. The meetings begin at 6:30 PM and are open to the public. Here are some
driving directions.
